Quarterly Review - Three Weeks Down

What fun is reading about some fatty's weight loss journey if there isn't any weight loss? I've been stringing you guys on for nearly three weeks now and I haven't told you how I'm doing weight wise. Okay, keep in mind I've only changed my diet, I haven't been over the top or crazy limiting, and I have not yet started regularly working out. To date, I have lost 6.2 pounds! That's about two pounds a week! I ain't mad about that. If we want to get technical, I've actually lost 7. I gained one back during my period (probably water weight) and then lost it again. It's the little things. So while I'm 6 down on the scale, I'm gonna count 7 worked off to make me feel better.

So that's poundage down, but how are we doing on reaching those goals?

1. Touching my Toes
I've still got about four inches to go before I can reach them, but with some more stretching and little more tummy gone, they are within reach! (Pun intended)

2. Run a 5K
I haven't really started on this one yet, but now that the move is complete and life is getting back to normal, I can look at starting this one.

3. Wearing my Wedding Bands
I haven't tried them on just yet, I think I'm scared. Maybe next week...

4. Size 8 Pants
While I've lost weight and I appear slimmer, I know that a lot of that is because I've lost water weight and I'm not as bloated as I used to be. So we're getting there, one inch at a time!

5. Feel Better
Honestly, I do feel a ton better. My energy is not as low or non existent as it used to be and I don't get bloated after every meal and feel like death. I was having issues with breakouts on my back and chest and I want to attribute the change in diet to those areas clearing up. I'm still having tummy issues, but I think a lot of that was stress. If they continue, I'll go see my GP.

Me at the Cinco party. I always lose weight in my face first.

There you have it. There is our first update on how things are going. I'll probably check in every two weeks or so to let you know where we are on this journey. I also have to tell you all how much I appreciate all the support. It has meant the world to bump in to you guys and you tell me you've been following along, how proud you are, and those of you who are joining me on this adventure! It is so inspiring and driving me forward. Thank you so much!
